I love this product, my hair stylist has been using this product for a long time and it is the only shampoo that can tame my hair.

Davines Love Shampoo Great for frizzy/wavy hair!!
This is my first review on Amazon. That being said I am usually a pretty lazy person and do not review products as much as I should. But this shampoo is so awesome that I had to share my thoughts to ease the woes of my fellow frizzy/wavy hair comrades.

I have yet to find a shampoo + conditioner combo that has helped my frizzy hair. I am also one of the very few asians that have wavy hair. After the 'poo + conditioning alone, I noticed that my frizz has subsided by much. Yipee!

Recently, I also went to a great hair stylist and she taught me a trick which I am much obliged to share with you all. After shampooing/conditioning with Davine's smooth series, pump some Paul Mitchell Super Skinny Serum to the ends of your damp hair. Blow dry/air dry at your pleasure. And feel the smoothness and manageable hair! No more tangles, knots, unruly hair.

I love this product. A friend gave me some samples and I was hooked. I now have the large size bottles of shampoo and conditioner. I have corse, thick, frizzy, wavy, very long hair that I straighten it every other day. This stuff has actually seemed to improve my hair. On the weekends I can now go with a wash and air dry and it isn't frizzy and the waves look healthier and smoother. It is a bit pricy, but well worth the expense in my opinion. The larger bottles will last a while and I figured I was spending about $12 every month on department store products that didn't do much for my hair.

Davines Color-enhancing Conditioner delivers5
This olive-oil based conditioner leaves my hair with a copper/auburn shine. Even though it is olive oil based it rinses out easily and smells great. Unlike so many other products that color-enhance, this one actually deserves the name conditioner. The jar is glass so care is indicated in handling, but it does keeps the product fresh and doesn't interact with the color. I take out the amount I'm going to use and put it into a small plastic container before I get in the shower. I had missed the Aveda Annatto conditioner for the color enhancing qualities but hadn't found it very conditioning on my hair. This product does both and even if Aveda began offering Annatto conditioner again I would not go back.

This stuff works great. We initially got it from our hair stylist who sadly stopped carrying davines products, so now we have to order it on the net. My partner and my father both use it for dandruff. She has tried everything and nothing else works except this. Also it doesn't smell too badly, which is a huge plus for dandruff shampoo and it isn't harsh so it doesn't dry out her hair.

Fabulous Shampoo
This shampoo is the best I have ever used. I never thought a shampoo could make such a difference but my hair looks and feels fabulous since I have been using this product. Amazing.....
I got this from my hair salon - on the suggestion of my hairstylist. I am always up to try new products, so I bought it and didn't really expect much more than your usual salon-bought shampoo. Boy was I in for a surprise, this shampoo is awesome. It smells great too - I smell it throughout the day too - not overpowering or anything, just good. I have naturally curly hair and this really smooths it. I blow dry it straight and also use a straightening iron, but it seems much easier than before I used this shampoo.
Worth the $$ definitely.

Nice, Gentle Shampoo
I have dandruff and had asked my hairdresser to recommend a dandruff shampoo to help control my dandruff without drying out my hair & scalp in the process OR stripping my colored hair.

She recommended the use of Davines Rebalancing Sebum Control Shampoo.... I've used this product over the course of the past month and have found it to be very gentle. Gentle enough to be used 3-4 times a week. It doesn't dry out ones scalp or hair and is safe enough for colored treated hair. My dandruff and scalp irritation has greatly improved, but not gone away completely yet. I am hoping with continued use of this product the dandruff will go away entirely.

Best at getting rid of itchy scalp
Love this shampoo! It's the only thing I've found that clears up my itchy scalp issues instantly. Definitely worth the money and it lasts ages.

Took years to find, but this is the one
This shampoo came recommended to me by a salon owner a few years ago, and I'm so glad I let her sell me on it. At $20-25 retail, I would not have picked this one up or even known about it. This is the only shampoo that I have found that has been able to keep my hair hydrated. I use it every other day, along with a cheap conditioner. You don't have to use much, especially with short hair. I can usually get around 3 months or more out of a bottle. I have shopped around at half a dozen salons that carry Davines, as well as on ebay, and I am glad that I found it on Amazon. By buying 2 or more bottles, I get free shipping, bringing the cost down to $15.99/bottle, which is lower than you can find it anywhere. I highly recommend this shampoo to anyone with dry hair or scalp.

MUST HAVE FOR CURLY HAIR TO BE BEAUTIFUL
Run dont walk to buy this conditioner! I have corkscrew curly hair and this product was recommended to me in a Beverly Hills hair supply shop. Shopkeeper said it is their #1 best seller for curly-haired people.

Absolutely worth the money - and I say this as someone who doesn't love to spend so much money on cleansing/beauty products. My hair looks awesome all the time - no more frizzies or bad hair days. I use it everyday (the 8oz) and it lasted me a little more than 3 months. It also smells so amazing that you don't need to wear perfume and you will be complimented on how great you smell. . . It is pretty heavy but someone with thick curly hair will not have a problem using too much of this.

Smooth, fine and loving - hair evolution
The name says it all --- this conditioner puts the "Love" into your hair - it not only tames, it nourishes. I have coarse hair with a slight wave that often gets unruly in humid weather. With this conditioner, the texture of my hair is actually finer and straighter. It is pricey but you only need a little bit at a time to have get results as it is very concentrated. I previously got the smallest size and it lasted me for over 6 months of use every other day. I expect this large, economy size to last me well over a year. Finally - this does not have an overly flowery odor, but more of a grapefruit-ey, fresh scent.

I love the conditioner more then the shampoo. The conditioner is so smooth and rich. Made my hair look gorgeous. But the shampoo not good enough for my oily hair. Makes my scalp a bit itchy.

best thing i've found for my curls
i'm 29 yrs old and have tried a lot of conditioners on my frizzy curls. this is the best i've ever found. it really helps to define my curls and they feel much softer. i still have some frizz so i give it 4 stars instead of 5-- but i highly recommend this conditioner.

love this shampoo
My hair has been bleached and dyed numerous times, and it's blow dried and flat ironed almost every day, but this shampoo (plus the matching conditioner) leaves my hair soft and clean without stripping the color, and my hair looks and feels healthy despite all the bleach and heat it's received. Even my hair dresser says my hair is healthier since I've been using this product, and she's pretty picky about these things (and entirely capable of making me change shampoos if she's not happy with what I'm using, as has happened many times). I've tried lots of shampoos, and this is by far my favorite.

Intoxicating Scent
I've been buying this for some time at an exclusive store in Boston, and now my tony salon carries it. I wouldn't care if I could buy it a Wal-Mart, because I really like it. Decent product
Davines products are often recommended for color treated hair because they are gentle. The line is also more "natural" compared to other hair products. Overall, I found the shampoo to be good to great, but a bit pricey.

Smooth, silky and loving - hair evolution
I also reviewed the conditioner for this line and had nothing but good things to say - the same holds true for the shampoo. This shampoo and its conditioner are a perfect pair. If you want finer, smoother hair; if you want to actually change the TEXTURE of your hair, you will NOT be disappointed. This shampoo is a bit pricey but it will last you over a year, and is for someone who really wants to nourish and change their hair. I also love the fresh, clean, grapefruit-ey scent.

Great Shampoo
I was using Kerastase, which is a great product, but not great on the budget. My colorist is one of the best there is (she does hair for Reese Whitherspoon, Heidi Klum, Kate Winslet, Brad Pitt, Sienna Miller, Raquel Welch, the Olson's, etc, etc, etc and has written her own book). She recommended this product for me as an alternative. It works very well smoothing the hair, but not weighing it down and leaves it shinny. It's also easier on the budget. I like to buy the professional size as I have to buy it less often and save $. The conditioner is also great; a little goes a long way.
